We use Zoom Phone and Zoom Meetings. There are many VOIP providers, but we needed something that JUST works. We don't need fancy call center features. We just need a phone, a simple automated attendant, and integration with our CRM to log calls and meetings. Zoom does all of that and the price is good. It is simple to use, works all the time and stays out of the way.

It's screenshare feature helps us a lot as in, client wants to see live steps of something xyz and this feature solves that problem, by using this feature client able to understand everything. Get More Done with ZOOM!!
We use Zoom for almost all of our meetings that used to all be in person. Just the staff time savings alone has made it possible for our employees to maximize the use of their time instead of driving from meeting to meeting in the community. Getting rid of the commute has given everyone back their balance in life and has made for much happier people who get more done because of Zoom.
- Editing, trimming and downloading recordings is simple
- Popping out the chat, and screensharing just keep getting better.
- registration, reporting, transcript searchability - all very user friendly
- AI Companion and Summary are game changers!!
- You can't see participants when screensharing
- Anyone with the link should be able to start the meeting (like Teams)

Having the chat and breakout room features is a great option to add to zoom. It has been very helpful for us since Covid.

Zoom is a terrific video conferencing software. We have been using it ever since the pandemic set in to connect with our clients from remote locations. It is very popular and every one is aware of it so there is no learning curve and the easy to use UI makes it quite hassle free to use.

We currently use Zoom for customer calls, meeting with customers, and meeting internally. We also use it to record training videos and staff meetings for internal purposes.
- It allows us to connect with each other and customers easily and quickly by simply sending a link.
- It is user-friendly.
- It has a lot of options when holding a meeting (breakout rooms, screen sharing, recording, etc.).
- It would be nice if the 40 minute time limit weren't an issue.

I'm a psychotherapist and I use it to consult [with] my clients. Since Covid started, I needed a way to interact with my clients and I'm lucky to have found Zoom. I can easily set appointments and exchange information through Zoom's seamless video sessions.

- I can arrange a collective session with more [than] 5 people. By the way, I use it for counseling and group therapy sessions.
- So many controls, sometimes I get confused.
We have customers which use our products. Whenever they face any issues with configuration or bugs in the software, they open up a ticket with us. We then use Zoom to organise a meeting after consulting their preferred time and then debug the problem by taking remote access to their system. The audio option helps us to be on top of the issue with the customer.

- Minimizing and maximizing the screen is a bit confusing
- At times, the meeting invites accepted in outlook does not show up in the zoom application.

As Covid-19 spread an lockdowns started we needed a solution to allow us to communicate internally as we switched to working remotely. Zoom offered us the ability to video chat and ability to share screens. It was incredibly stable offering an amazing experience for our users. We also used it to engage with the community as it was one of the most recommended products on the market and simple enough for users to start to use.

Zoom Phone System - Not as advertised

Zoom sells you a phone system that is not flexible in functionality. It is also very expensive (about 80% more) compared to other VOIP systems such as VoIP.ms and other VoIP service providers. The limitations of the software are very basic and also an issue for corporations. It is a static setup. What you see is what you get. If you need to add users, it costs money versus others that are free. The Zoom phone system might be suitable for personal use only. Due to the lack of flexibility in the phone system, I was not able to use it for my purpose. However, Zoom does want you to commit to a 3-year contract which I did not. I was able to set up a 1-year contract which, by the way, is automatically renewable. Please pay attention to that, because Zoom won't allow you to get away even if you don't cancel past one day.

We are using Zoom in our organization to organize and connect during bigger events including external parties. The problem that Zoom is addressing was the limitation that other similar solutions presented, i.e. Google Meet requires any sort of Gmail account to log in to the system, while MS Teams requires installing heavy software that does not always run smooth on Mac ecosystem.

- Zoom does a good job in filtering background noises and highlighting the current speaker
- Light web-based solution would be appreciated

Zoom provides great bandwidth on calls.
We use Zoom for our large company meetings, and I like that it's extremely simple, it gives the presenters the option to immediately mute its audience (with other products, we'd have people interrupting all the time), but I like that Zoom provides crisp and clear sound and picture as well as providing me with the options to interact during the meeting such as chat and background filters.

I swapped from Whereby to Zoom to teach my private students online. Zoom has been very efficient in terms of ease of use, user-friendliness, conference initiation and invitation, screen sharing, video audio quality, live chat, and privacy features (virtual background image). It is very easy to navigate through the different sharing options (basic, advanced, and files), and I do love the iPad screen sharing through "screen mirroring".

A good product for large-list meetings on a company level.
We use Zoom for long-list meetings that involve more than 200 people on the same call. The product lets us solve the need of organizing such big meetings in a proper way. The integration with Google Calendar lets us inform all of the attendees properly.

- The possibility to invite large list of attendees its super convenient
- The fact that your logged in information has the tendency to be erased makes it annoying every time you open the app.

We in UAE were fully face to face organization where showing physical presence was of essence, however since Covid hit this changed drastically and we had to look for options for remote meet-ups. So we looked for multiple solutions and found Zoom most convenient to use. It was easy for the tech savvy people and for our clients as well who have no past experience working on such links to meet people.

Mostly used in leadership meeting sessions and one on one meetings. The biggest problem I experienced was the volume of people on meeting calls would cause a lag or delay in the call. This was not every time but mostly in all team meetings, which were once a month for the past year.

This greatly optimizes my working time and is extremely safe. Zoom has been the platform that has revolutionized business and individual meetings, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. Using Zoom as a host or guest has allowed me to reduce costs in many ways and be able to make specific agreements that would not have been possible otherwise.
